Beyond the ordinary
I only started to write creatively when I retired, putting together some fun, silly stories for the grandchildren. It was then suggested, in jest, that I write a book covering my experiences as a charity CEO. From that tongue-in-cheek challenge came - A Very Firm Handshake. Surprised by its success, I wrote my first novel - Alban of Verulamium, exploring the legend of St Alban, Britannia's first Christian Saint.
I am now working on my next books for publication in 2026, Timber & Tides - a story about the Mary Rose, Nailed It!, a memoir of my DIY failures and focusing on the fictitious story of three young rugby players coming through the system. I have a few more ideas so please watch this space. I have also published a few short stories on Novelo.com
