Beyond the ordinary

Comming in late 2026

I am working on some new ideas, so watch this space. One prospect is Powder & Prayer, focusing on the Spanish Armada from the point of view of an English & Spanish sailor.

A review of my draft text from a well-known publisher said:

"We can confidently state that your work was found to be a most absorbing and fascinating historical drama offering a gripping, dual perspective looks at the 1588 clash between the English and Spanish fleets. The Board was keen to comment on how by mirroring Thomas Black against Mateo de Ávila, the narrative elevates a naval skirmish into a profound study of human nature. We believe your work is very well-conceived and developed, also allowing the reader to gain a comprehensive insight and understanding of the particular events and times. ‘Powder & Prayer’ is a well-written and researched work worthy of attention and believe it would have a place in the market." AM

I will be working on this as the year progresses.

England supported the Protestant Dutch rebels fighting Spanish rule in the Netherlands, further escalating tensions.
